Horizon City is one of the fastest-growing parts of the El Paso area, and most of its homes are newer stucco builds sitting on open desert southeast of the city. That combination decides what ends up on the glass. With new streets still going in, construction fines (cement, stucco and gypsum dust) settle on finished homes well beyond any job site, and once they get damp they cure into a haze that ordinary glass cleaner will not lift. Wiping that haze dry drags abrasive grit across the pane and leaves fine scratches. It needs a wet pass with time to soak first.
The other thing Horizon City has plenty of is wind. Open desert on every side means the spring wind season hits hard here, and sand fills tracks, weep holes and screen mesh on the windward side of the house. New-build windows are usually large low-E double-pane units with screens on every opening, and new owners are often surprised how fast the screens fill.
The water here is groundwater from the Hueco Bolson, treated before it reaches the tap, and like most desert groundwater it leaves mineral spots wherever it dries on glass. In a young neighborhood the usual source is a new landscaping system: a drip line or sprinkler head set a little too close to the house.
We clean inside and outside glass, wash screens by hand, clear tracks dry before any water goes on, remove fresh mineral spotting, and clean gutters, solar panels, driveways and stucco. Every price is set before we arrive, and every job carries our 24-hour guarantee.
Four things decide how fast windows get dirty here and what it takes to get them clean.
Late May, after the spring wind season, and October, after the monsoon, are the two visits that do the most work here. The full month-by-month desert calendar is on our El Paso page.
A dull film on new windows that comes back after a regular clean. It is cured construction dust, not dirt. It needs soaking and a careful wet removal. Dry wiping scratches the glass.
Open desert on every side means heavy spring sand. Screens come off and get washed flat; tracks are vacuumed and brushed out dry before any water.
A new drip or sprinkler system set close to the house leaves white mineral spots on lower glass. We remove them and tell you which head is causing it.
Every house is priced on its own: size, window count, stories and access. We look your home up and give you an exact, bookable price for your address. Hard-water spot removal is its own line, because it is a different job than washing, and we would rather show you that up front than surprise you later.
About 30 seconds. No callback, no in-home estimate.
Active building nearby means construction haze on glass and screens. A wet clean with real soak time is the safe way to remove it.
Older streets with mature landscaping, where sprinkler spotting is usually the first complaint.
Homes on the outer streets take the spring wind first. Tracks fill with sand by April.

Inside and outside glass, screens off and hand-washed, and tracks cleared dry first, because wet desert sand scratches glass.
Sprinkler, drip and cooler spotting removed while it still comes off, before a few summers turn it into etching.
Desert sun makes mesh and spline brittle. Rescreening on site usually costs far less than a new screen.
Cleared before the monsoon, when a gutter full of sand meets the year's hardest rain. Canales and scuppers too.
Months without rain and two dust seasons: a dusty array loses output exactly when the sun is strongest.
Drives, walks and patios cleared of monsoon mud, desert grit and irrigation rings.
Low-pressure cleaning for stucco and plaster. Pressure belongs on concrete, not on your walls.
New-build haze from cement and stucco dust, removed wet and slow so the glass is never scratched.
Yes. New homes often have construction haze, paint specks and stickers on the glass. We remove those carefully and wet, never with a dry blade on dirty glass, so nothing gets scratched.
Two or three times a year for most homes: after the spring wind season, after the monsoon, and once more if construction is still going on nearby.
