The Santa Ana Canyon is the corridor these winds are named for, and Anaheim Hills, Yorba Linda, Orange and the South County foothills take them hard. Grit packs tracks and abrades screens, and the inland-facing elevation loads first.

Tracks cleared dry before water, always. Screens inspected as they come off. Active events get rescheduled rather than worked through.
