Data Deletion Instructions

Sonlight Window Cleaning respects your right to control your personal data. If you would like us to delete information we have collected about you — including data we received from Facebook, Instagram, our website, lead forms, or Messenger conversations — please follow the steps below.

How to Request Deletion

Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include:

• Your full name
• The phone number, email, or address we have on file
• If you contacted us via Facebook Messenger, your Facebook display name
• (Optional) Any specific data you would like removed

What We Delete

Within 30 days of verifying your identity, we will permanently delete:

• Your customer or lead record (name, address, phone, email)
• Any Facebook Messenger conversation history associated with your account
• Any lead form submissions you made via Facebook or Instagram ads
• Communication logs (text messages, emails, call recordings)
• Job history, quotes, and payment records (except as required by law for tax/accounting retention — typically 7 years)

What We Cannot Delete

Records we are legally required to retain (invoices, tax records, ledger entries) may be kept in archive form for the period required by applicable law, but they will be removed from active systems and access restricted.

Confirmation

Once your deletion is complete, we will email you to confirm.
